Chords vs Notes on BASS

So, how many musician out there just like me? - A novice? Haha..
Here some information that we may not know until today (or is it just me?), well, kind enough I share this knowledge to anyone who are looking for it.

Alright, this post are about Chords and Notes on the bass. So, I will begin with simple question and understandable answers.

What is Chords?
A chords is a group of notes played at the same time notably on guitar, keyboard and other kind of instrument. Which means, if we use the chord of G major, it is a combination between G root, B minor and high octave G. It's like this on guitar :

Gmaj on Guitar

How about Notes?
Alright, notes is a single tone on which if we play on different notes will produce a melody. I would simply describe it best as we play the DO-RE-MI melody (or the major scale).

Playing bass is merely putting your fingers on the right notes on the bass fret and plucking the string on where the notes rest by following the melody of a song.

We, however can play a chords on the bass if we are able to do it carefully and harmonically with the band. Here some chords we can develop on bass :

Chords on bass are rarely played together with the band because it can produce a muddy sound. So, bassist should be careful with the chords. Why? Because if several low-pitch notes are played at the same time, it does not sound really good with the band. However, it is best to play solo with chords.
;-D

So, these are the only infos I can share at the moment. Happy Day~ =)
