Yeah, I am on diet though that is not my year 2013 determination.
My 2013 Determination are to pray harder and spend 80% doing ministry, God give me strength :)
Alright, back to the above topic -Eating Healthy Foods-, hm..I'm not an expert but through research I found that these food I'm eating is good for me! Ha! (I eat them before I do research, hmm..yeah..)
But.....before that, most people would use the word 'diet' to describe 'fasting' and that is not a healthy way of life. 'Fasting' or not eating anything at all only sickening your body. Healthy diet means, we eat food that is healthy and contain nutrients needed by our body.
My first diet is:
1. Honey
Honey can prevent cancer and heart disease. How? Honey contain flavonoids, antioxidants which help to reduce the risk of some cancers and heart disease.
There are other health benefits such as to reduce ulcers and gastrointestinal disorders, anti bacterial, anti-fungal, increase athletic performance and reduce throat irritation and cough.
What's even surprise me is that two table spoon of honey before sleep can help me burn fat faster than workout!!
Secondly..
2. Boiled egg
I was wandering at the store and suddenly my brain tells me to buy eggs. So I bought a pax of eggs and boiled two eggs and eat them for breakfast (or lunch) since I don't do breakfast sometimes.
Egg contains 12% protein which explain why bodybuilder eat them a lot! (I guess I don't have to explain that).
The egg yolk also good for brain function since they contain choline. It is a nutrient that regulates the brain, nervous system and cardiovascular health.
Somehow, I can't eat more than two boiled eggs with the yolk if I don't want to rise up my cholesterol, you got the point.
I hope this would be the third,
3. Sweet potatoes.
I remember back at Kampung my grandmother will steam a sweet potatoes and I would rather eat them than the rice. It is sweet and delicious!!
Sweet potatoes are known as a vegetable (yeah, I thought it was a fruit too! haha) which packed with carotene and vitamin A. One serving of a sweet potatoes will provides more than 23 cups of broccoli! Yeah!
Also high in fiber makes sweet potatoes to be significantly reduces the risk of constipation thereby lowering risk of disorders such as diverticulitis and colon-related problems and found very effective in helping to fight obesity.
By eating these things daily, I am able to eat some pork in the weekend..or icecream...
